A Message from Our Parent Coordinator
Welcome families!
My name is Debbie Calderon-Olson, and I've been with PS 129Q, first as a School aide for 18 years and as a Parent Coordinator for 4 years.
Just like our families, we are excited to start another year of learning and growth, partnering with you to ensure every child has a successful and joyful school experience.
As your Parent Coordinator, I am here to support you and share valuable resources to keep our families informed of many opportunities and events so please continue to visit our school's website to keep informed.
Should you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, feel free to share them with us. We speak many different languages and therefore, communication won't be a problem. Families can contact me as Spanish is my second language.
With that said, strong communication between home and school is one of the most important factors in student success, and I encourage you to stay connected through our school communications, parent meetings, workshops, and special events.
Also, very important to add that regular attendance and being punctual is essential for academic success.
Every school day provides valuable learning experiences that help students build skills, confidence, and meaningful relationships. Let's help our students start their day right!
